The closure of workplaces and travel restrictions imposed all over the globe shaved $11B off Singapore’s GDP for this year. This accounts for 2.2% of our annual GDP. The budgets announced by government to support individuals and businesses during this challenging times amounts to $93B, which is about 20% of Singapore’s GDP.
